CD vs DownloadingThe electronic version is the same as the retail boxed version except that the software and the manuals must be downloaded. You may download the demo at any time, before or after purchasing (the User Manual will download with the demo). Once your order has been verified, you may request your activation code. Click on the Activation Code button above to begin using the software immediately. Why buy the electronic version?Electronic Delivery allows you to begin using your program immediately, rather than waiting the typical 5-7 days for the retail delivery.How does it work?The user's manuals download with the program. They will install in a PDF file along with your program. You can also download the manual separately if you were using an older version and want to browse the manual to see what changes have been made to a current version (click on the manuals button to the left). However, in the case of the retail package delivery, the manuals are contained right on the CD for installation with your program. The downloaded manual and the manual contained on the retail CD are the same documentation. These downloads can be performed at any time through the life of your version. Therefore, if you upgrade your computer or install a second computer in your home/office, simply download the demo again and use your activation code to unlock your program. Transferring your data from one computer to the other is unaffected as you would need to perform the same system of backing up and restoring from one computer to another as you would if you actually installed the program to another computer from the CD.If subsequent downloads are necessary, the code you were given for your Version 6 program will still work. Older programs will require a new code. An activation code will always be available for any program you have purchased by following the directions located at the "Activation Codes" button. When an upgrade becomes available and put in place on the website, a former code will not work with that new version download. In the event an upgrade becomes available within 6 months of purchase, we will provide free codes accordingly. PLEASE NOTE .... once the activation code is provided to unlock a program, your purchase is non-refundable.
